About the Trainer -- Kristy Staniforth McCann
A three time AQHA World Champion, Kristy is considered one of the top trainers of western pleasure and western riding horses in the United States. Along with her husband Dean McCann, Kristy trains out of Summit View Ranch in Graham, Washington, an hour south of Seattle. Kristy maintains more than thirty horses in training, specializing in western pleasure, western riding, and all-around events.
Since 1988, Kristy has taken a number of her youth, amateur and open competitors to top ten titles at the AQHYA and AQHA World Championships and she has been a consistent winner of West Coast NSBA western pleasure futurities.
